With the intent of exploring a new avenue of illustration, the idea behind this poster/project was to encompass the busy, natural feel of a film festival hosted in Telluride by showcasing many iconic landscape features. The original project prompt offered different landscapes and sceneries to choose from around the United States, with Telluride Colorado being one I was completely unfamiliar with.
I wanted to challenge myself by immersing into a landscape I knew nothing about and, further,
somehow bring it to life.
